Account & billing

Personal settings

Four small choices that follow your account everywhere: how the app looks, which language it speaks, how much detail it shows you, and where to change your password.

Open Settings in the left sidebar, in the Account section at the bottom of the menu — or pick Settings from the menu behind your email address at the very bottom of the sidebar. You can also go straight to the settings page.

Not to be confused with

Inside a shop there is a second Settings group in the sidebar, holding Configuration, Connection and Members. Those are settings for that shop and everyone on the team is affected by them. The page described here is yours alone: nobody else sees your theme, your language or your expert mode.

Appearance

“Choose how krasslabs looks for you. ‘System’ follows your operating system preference.” Three options:

  • System — “Follow the operating system setting”. The app is light while your computer is in light mode and dark when it switches, including automatically in the evening if your device does that.
  • Light — “Always use the light theme”.
  • Dark — “Always use the dark theme”.

Pick one and press Save preference. There is also a sun/moon button in the sidebar (and in the header of this documentation) that flips between light and dark straight away, without opening this page.

Language

“Choose the language of the user interface.” Two options — English and Deutsch, each written in its own language so you can find yours whichever one is currently active. Choose and press Save language; you get the confirmation “Language preference saved.” and the whole app switches immediately.

This setting also decides the language of the emails the platform sends you — invitations, approval decisions, password resets.

The documentation language is a separate thing

The English / Deutsch switch at the top of this documentation only changes the documentation. It does not touch your interface language, and it is remembered separately.

So you can read these pages in German while working in an English interface, or the other way round — deliberately, because the two decisions are often made by different people. To change the app itself, you must use the Language card on the settings page described here.

One thing the language setting does not change: the languages your content is generated in. Those come from your Shopware store and are picked per job — see Generating content.

Expert mode

“Show advanced configuration fields (temperature, token limits, keyword-research tuning, and other technical knobs). Off by default — the defaults are sensible for most users.”

Tick Enable expert mode and press Save preference. You can also flip it without leaving the page you are on: open the menu behind your email address at the bottom of the sidebar and click the Expert mode entry, which carries an On or Off badge.

What it reveals

Expert mode never changes how anything behaves — it only stops hiding controls. With it switched on you additionally see:

  • Temperature and Max tokens on the generation modules — how freely the AI is allowed to write, and how long the result may get.
  • System prompt and Generation prompt — the actual instructions sent to the AI, which you can rewrite for a shop, a template or a single run.
  • The keyword-research tuning fields: Keyword country, Keyword sources, Max keywords, Min search volume, Max competition and Keyword cache TTL (days).
  • The Opacity (%) of the AI-generated watermark, and the internal id fields for target media folders.
  • The placeholder chips (Insert variable:) in the job wizard, which paste things like the product name into a prompt. In the template editor these are always visible.
  • The alt-text option Cover image only (one alt-text per product).
  • The per-prompt How many versions of this image counter in the image generator.
  • The Assign to: dropdown when requesting an approval, which lets you make one specific colleague responsible instead of notifying every possible approver.
  • The panel How the AI should write (optional) in the wizard opens by itself instead of staying collapsed.
Nothing is lost while it is off

Values in hidden expert fields are kept and keep working. Turning expert mode off does not reset a temperature you set earlier — it only stops showing you the control. Turn it back on and your value is still there.

Should you switch it on?

Only if you actually want to rewrite prompts or tune keyword research. The defaults are chosen to work; the fastest way to make output worse is to change a temperature without a reason. A good middle ground: leave it off day to day and switch it on for the one job where you need the Assign to: dropdown or a custom prompt.

Account

The last card is read-only and shows two facts:

  • Email — the address you sign in with. It is also the address invitations must be sent to, and the one all notifications go to.
  • Member since — when your account was created.

Changing your password

There is no password field in the app

The card ends with a single sentence: “To change your password, sign out and use the password reset page.” That link is the whole mechanism — a signed-in form for changing a password does not exist.

To set a new password:

  1. Press Sign out in the menu behind your email address (or use the link on the Account card before you sign out).
  2. Open the password reset page, which is headed Reset your password.
  3. Type your email address and press Send reset link.
  4. You are told “If an account matching your email exists, a password reset link has been sent.” together with how long the link is valid. This wording never reveals whether an address exists — that is on purpose.
  5. Open the email, follow the link, and on Choose a new password pick a password of at least 10 characters. Press Change password.
  6. Sign in again with the new password.

No email? Check your spam folder, and remember that the link expires — the page offers a try again link for a fresh one.

Your email address itself cannot be changed from inside the app. If you need a different one, ask whoever runs the platform.

What is not on this page

  • Notification settings — emails are sent when they are needed (invitations, approval requests and decisions) and cannot be switched off individually.
  • Shop settings — writing style, research country, approval requirement and prompts live per shop under Settings › Configuration. See Configuration.
  • Team and permissions — under Settings › Members in a shop, described in Team & roles.
  • Credits — per shop, described in Credits.
  • Deleting your account or a shop — not available in the interface. Ask whoever runs the platform.
